To meet the requirements to have the course fully funded you must be:

  • 16-24
  • Live in or just outside Staffordshire
  • Not be currently in education, training or employment (this includes those who are not in school or working due to closures resulting from Covid-19)

Delivered as part of the Positive Directions programme, the courses are funded by the European Social Fund and is designed to support young individuals to achieve the skills and qualifications they require to gain employment or continue with further education.

 

In addition to receiving access to online resources and assessments, you will be able to access weekly virtual support sessions delivered by a qualified tutor/subject specialist. These will give you an opportunity to ask any questions about the course, in particular any parts of the assessment you are struggling with.

These are carried out using the Zoom platform which can be accessed via smartphone or computer/laptop.
